Thirty-four members, adults, youths and children attended. It was quite a special meeting because the BEC on the initiative of its leader, Mrs Anu Sirisinghe, had invited Fr Joseph Stephen CsSR from Ipoh to talk and share on some interesting and relevant topics. Fr Joseph talked at length on the importance and advantages of being a member of a BEC, stressed on our commitment to our families while making prayer an important aspect in our lives. The talks and sharing that followed have certainly given all of us something to think and act upon, especially to overcome the many distractions we encounter in church and our every day lives.
