PDYN is organising Penang Diocesan Youth Day II 

(PDYD II) this year.

We will have 3 levels of celebration i.e. parish, district and diocesan level.

It is to bring the World Youth Day experience to the youth in the diocese. 

It is aimed to transformed the youths to be agents of change in this society.

We will kick-start this spiritual journey by launching of the event in the Church of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, Ipoh on 19/02/2012.

Then the icon and cross will travel throughout all the 28 parishes the diocese for their respective  parish-level celebration. This will take place from March till August. 

The 5 districts namely Island, Northern Region, North Perak, Central Perak and South Perak will have their celebration on August and September. 

The climax comes when the 4-days diocesan level celebration no 16-19/11/2012 that will take place in the Penang Island. Pilgrims will stay in parishes, foster families and other places in different parts in the island. They will travel on their own to seminars and pilgrims centres for different sessions throughout the event.
