BIDOR: On Mar 20, the Love Squad team together with the Vineyard Sisters of St Michael’s Church Alor Setar visited the Orang Asli settlement in Bidor.
After a two-hour drive, the team from Alor Setar met Fr Charles Chin, the caretaker of the place. There were broad smiles on the faces of the people there w o were very delighted to see us.
Then everyone participated in the Eucharistic Celebration presided by Fr Chin. After Mass, there was a short presentation of traditional songs and dances by the Orang Asli. It was amazing to see the strong faith and charismatic spirit which the people had in them towards Christ Our Lord.
Later, the Alor Setar team had a chance to taste the authentic food prepared for lunch. Mrs Daisy was very happy to contribute some gifts to the children there. In a nutshell, it was a very memorable, fun-filled day that the Love Squad and the Vineyard Sisters had especially during this Lenten season —
