Ipoh parish celebrates lantern festival |

IPOH: On October 4, parishioners of the Church of Our Mother of Perpetual Help (OMPH) celebrated the lantern festival. Many of those who attended the fellowship came as a family.
Food was on a pot-luck basis. People brought home-cooked food and shared it with everyone there.
The night went on with the children going for their lantern walk around the church compound with the only light they had coming from their lanterns. As some of the children were too young, their grandparents and parents tagged along too.
Upon reaching the cafeteria, there were games for all the children and also the parents. Many children won prizes with the help of their family
Everyone enjoyed themselves that night, especially the children. At the end of it, all had a blast and the bond between parent and child grew even stronger.
